Description Leos Literak 2009-03-14 07:43:37 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-server-1mnb

Asus M50VC is a laptop with numeric keyboard. Its keys work well except home / end / page up / page down in konsole. These keys work in all other applications (firefox, kwrite), but they have no effect in konsole (running bash / mc ..)

Shift-PgUp/PgDown also does not work, making konsole completly unusable on notebooks like Asus G71v.

see https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=50312 for more users having same problem, I really hate this problem

Works fine w/ patch from https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/287916 (tested on KDE4.3.4@Gentoo)

There is a duplicate bug in KDE already: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191476

How to convince KDE developers to apply that patch? Shall I bribe somebody?
