I don't see any trouble with this feed. I received 24 articles after adding it. Created attachment 32048 [details]

I can reproduce this quite consistently. Interestingly, Konqueror also has trouble opening this URL, and tells me "Connection to Server Closed Unexpectedly" I'm attaching the network dump. Created attachment 32049 [details]

I can not reproduce this in Akregator in 4.2.1 or trunk. It works as well as any other feed. I can, however, reproduce what Peter Sabaini says about Konqueror. The feed file is unusually compressed and has no <?xml /> header, and after a few fetches I get "Connection refused" for a while. The server sets Content-type: text/html, which may confuse things. Also see http://is.gd/oBQV for RSS validation result. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
