What I did:

I run Kontact, I switch to the Korganizer module. My default view for the calendar is the weekly view.

What I expected:

I expected the calendar to show up.

What I got instead:

Korganizer starts, shows me on the left hand the small monthly view and my different calendars below that. The big weekly view on the right however is collapsed. The header with the dates and weekday names is still there. But the day-events and the schedule are not visible.

How to work around this:

I can make the events and the schedule visible, by dragging the splitter at the bottom of the window. However the next time I start Kontact it will be the same again as before.

This is a known bug, however the next time you start kontact the settings should be remembered.

Can you post your ~/.kde4/share/config/korganizerrc after adjusting sizes and closing kontact?

You are right, after closing it works fine. I will see if it changes after a new re-login later. Right now I will attach the korganizerrc after I fixed the sizes.
