Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hey all,

(I must be using the wrong words in the description. I'm sure this wish must have been reported before...)

I'd wish for a semi-online mode for cached imap: if a connection is available, immediately push changes to the server (probably together with queued changes for this folder.) If a connection is not available silently (or perhaps with some kind of small icon indication in the status bar) go to full offline. Ideally check every now and then (on every operation if last check was >2min ago?) if we're now online.

Similar mode for send mail as a bonus. I use send later because the "can't connect" dialog of the immediate send when offline is annoying, even though the result (message in outbox) is exactly what I want.

cheers

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
