3rd variation of the test file
Note that the test files were created using iText. It is rather unlikely that the error is on iText's side, because all three files render correctly in other PDF viewers. Hi, Okular does not load and render PDF documents on its own, but uses a 3rd party library called "Poppler". Please report the problem at the Poppler's bug tracking system at https://bugs.freedesktop.org, "poppler" product. Thanks for your report. Hi Pino! I know that Poppler is Okular's PDF rendering backend, and would have filed the bug there. However I'm assuming that Dolphin's PDF preview uses Poppler as well and I know that Evince does use Poppler. Still, both render the files correctly. So I'm not really convinced that it is a Poppler bug, and leave the ticket here in the Okular tracker. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Poppler's nor Okular's interfaces, so I can't tell what could possibly cause the error on Okular's side. Hopefully someone else can step in for me at this point. Regards, Pancho (In reply to comment #6) > However I'm assuming that Dolphin's PDF preview uses Poppler as well Wrong assumption, it uses Ghostscript. As I said, this is a Poppler bug. |
