Version:            (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Since a couple of weeks the quicklaunch applet is compressed horizontally, making the icons in it so small that they are nearly unidentifiable.
I already tried to:
-delete it and create a new one
-create a new panel and a new quicklaunch applet in it 
-delete the plasma config files. 

But nothing resolved it.
