The week view is invisible (just not there). Month view is there without any problems.

Yes, this was a regression we put in mistakenly.
A fix is already in place for 4.2.2 and 4.3.0

The week view is there, but it is hidden by a horizontal splitter.
Look for a splitter (it may be hard to find) and drag it open to reveal the week view.

I sent an emergency patch notification to all the distro packagers about this.
