System tray keeps flickering when I download stuff either with Wget or with Firefox. I think it might be caused by KNetworkManager, because it only flickers when it shows 4 columns. Although I didn't notice tray to flicker if I wasn't downloading at the same time. 

KNetworkManager version:
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.10
KNetworkManager: 0.7

Confirm me that you are using KDE3? Unfortunatelly Kicker (panel) for KDE3 is no longer supported.

nope I am using KDE 4.2, just using KNetworkManager from KDE 3.5 (no network manager for KDE 4 as far as I'm concerned)

Version above is obtained from knetworkmanager -v

Are you still experiencing this? If you do, what is your Qt4 version ?
Qt4.5 fixed some flickering on system tray icons.

I have stopped using KNetworkManager because of that bug, but tried it now with QT4.5 and everything seems fine. I think you can mark this bug as resolved.
