Description Alec Moskvin 2009-03-07 17:42:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Compiler: gcc (Gentoo 4.3.3 p1.0, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.3
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When Konqueror displays text edits, the cursor continues to blink if I select the location bar or even switch to a different application.

This is a really annoying bug because the blinking cursor indicate where the user typing text, and it often happens that I start typing but find that the text is not appearing because I'm actually not actually focused.

How to Reproduce:
1. Open a page with a text edit (such as google.com)
2. Click on the location bar (You now have two blinking cursors)
3. Open another Konqueror window (You the previous window still has a blinking cursor in the search box)
4. Switch back to the previous window and try to guess where your text will go when you start typing.
