Description John van Spaandonk 2009-03-06 18:07:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Not much to add, I get tiny fonts, this normally happens in Firefox :-)
Good readable fonts when using viewmode-khtml

Let me know if you want a screendump or something

Using kubuntu pre-9.04, QT 4.5 final.

I see that it also does not respect minimum fontsize as set in konqueror settings.

Do you have any example sites to reproduce this issue?

For example google.com
Comment 4 John van Spaandonk 2009-03-08 12:00:45 UTC
Eh, all websites?

Just tired 4 websites:

www.nu.nl
slashdot.org
tweakers.net
http://tweakers.net/

4 times tiny fonts out of four tried.

Oh, also bugs.kde.org :-)

Switching back to view mode khtml increases the font size to what I specified as minimum size.
BTW switching back to view mode khtml leaves me with a blank page on finance.yahoo.com.
Perhaps an unrelated problem.

It's a shame I have to deinstall it again now, because every reload etc. will select the first in the list of view mode, ie webkitkde and not the second one, khtml.

Thanks for replying and looking into this, I have high hopes for webkitkde

BTW I also think that not all flash sites work properly, will look into this and report a separate bug.
If you need more info just let me know.
Comment 5 John van Spaandonk 2009-03-08 12:10:37 UTC
Played with it some more.
I can increase the font size by CTRL-mouse scroll up.
And the bigger fontsize seems to be retrieved reasonably well over websites.
So at least this gives me the opportunity to play with it some more.

BTW increasing everything with CTRL-+ causes a huge jump in fonts, I thought I
saw a commit where this is solved?

Confirmed.

[Comment from a bug triager]
Moving old kdewebkit bug reports to kdelibs/kdewebkit. Sorry about the noise
