Description Mauro 2009-03-06 09:48:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I don't know if it's normal, but every menu/window of my kde 4.2 official (with Italian language installed) has 70% italian strings and 30% english untranslated strings...

Should I try to reinstall the it language? If so, how?

Italian translation is pretty complete by statistics, so someone on developer's would notice the problem by now. On the other hand, Ubuntu provides translations in a special way, which was lately known to cause problems like this (lacking translations especially in menus); these problems are supposed to be getting cleared by Ubuntu packagers.

So I'll close the bug unless someone with a non-Ubuntu packages confirms it.

I have the same problem since a pair of days on my Manjaro.
Some words are in Italian, others like downloads and trash are in English.
