With "wobble" do you mean that all the elements on the (horizontal) panel moves towards the left some pixels, and then return to their original position when the notification hides itself ? That is because a new icon is added in the systemtray to show(and manually hide) the Notifications. (a blue information icon ("(i)"). Or do you mean something else ?
Thanks
I wish I knew how to capture a video, but I'll try to describe it... Just to be clear, this is NOT a result of the "i" icon appearing in the system tray. Here's what happens: 1. The entire panel shifts left and then back to its normal location. 2. The whole thing lasts a fraction of a second (much less time than the notification popup is visible) 3. It doesn't seem to happen unless the panel occupies less than the full width of the screen and the minimum width of the panel is not equal to the maximum width. 4. It is very consistent: once you have the conditions right for the bug to occur, it happens every time a notification popup appears 5. It appears exactly as the notification popup appears; nothing similar happens when the popup disappears Waiting for screencast Problem seems to have disappeared in KDE 4.2.2. I think you can close this, and I'll re-open if it happens again. Closing as WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if you experience the same bug again. Thanks |
