Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I have configured System Settings-> Keyboard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> khotkeys, to set Meta+K for opening Konsole, but it doesn't work.

Similary, none of the khotkeys mentioned in that list are working for me !!

I see in the System Settings -> Service Manager that KHotKeys service is Running.

So I don't know why none of the shortcuts are working for me !!

Could you please help me out in this?

yep. running 4.3.0 now.

use kmenuedit to set a shortcut for an app. Does that work?

I'm guessing the fix for bug 166608 fixed this too so I'm closing since my main test case was ksnapshot although I'd determined it wasn't limited to ksnapshot. err... well it seems I can't close.
