Version: 1.2.9 (using 3.5.10-3.fc9 Fedora, Fedora release 9 (Sulphur))
Compiler: Target: i386-redhat-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.15-78.2.23.fc9.i686

akregator does not remember which article i read last when sorting ascending on date.

how to reproduce.
1. start akregator, select a feed, say FEED1.
2. in the article window, sort on date ascending (newest articles at bottom).
3. Scroll down to the newest article and click it.
4. select a second feed, say FEED2.
5. go back to FFED1.
6. Observe that akregator does neither scroll down to the newest article nor does it remember which article i read last.

In KDE4, akregator remembers the positions of the scrollbars for each feed and restores them when switching feeds. for select unread items, you can use "Next unread articles".

Closing as I consider this sufficiently handled in KDE4 and 3.5.x is not developed anymore.
