Description Vsevolod Krishchenko 2009-02-27 01:26:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

1. Start Konsole
2. type 'cd /usr/bin' <Enter>
3. type 'ls' <enter>, wait for sec.

Konsole window caption will change to 'usr/b: bash' instead of '/usr/bin: bash'. This is incorrect.

That's the default tab format '%d : %n'. I wonder if %D shouldn't be the default.
Comment 2 Robert Knight 2009-02-27 13:52:20 UTC
No, this is correct behavior for tabs because it shortens down common directory names which don't help you to tell tabs apart.

In Window titles this behavior is not so useful - but there is already another bug report about making it possible for window and tab titles to use different formats.

As mentioned this is the correct display.
