Description Joachim Reichelt 2009-02-26 16:57:46 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Opening dolphin with smb:\ I see our domain
Clicking on it I see the Domain-Server and myself.
Clicking on the Domain-Server I can enter my UID/PW and see the shares.
But I cannot access any other server. All I get is timeout.

Reproducible: Always

I just did a small test:
I added to smb.conf
        interfaces = eth0 vmnet1 vmnet8

and now all is o.k.
using the log of smbnetfs, that had the same problem, it showed me it was
only calling im my case vmnet1 and never the other ones!

That is smb configuration issue on your end.
