Description Alexander Neundorf 2009-02-22 00:48:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I'm uisng the detailled view in dolphin.
When the mouse cursors is outside the dir view, e.g. above the info view, the status bar and also the info pane show the information as expected when moving the current (which is at the same time the selected) item using the up/down keys.

When I move the mouse cursor over the dir view, the status bar and the info pane always show the information for the current item, which is then always the item below the mouse cursor.

I'd suggest that if the selected item is moved using the up/down keys, also the current item should be changed accordingly. Then navigating among the files using the keys would feel much better.

I agree with Alexander. The described behaviour is reproducible on current trunk too.

The reported problem seems gone in dolphin 2.0
