I tested it with hijri and jalali calendars. I have a screencast of the failure http://blip.tv/file/1797136

Firts time the next month arrow is clicked, the the calendar goes to a negative year. It is stuck there or move to zero. After that no operation works.

This could well be related to this bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131342 which is a kdelibs bug but I would need to check.  Or it could be a bug with the plasma widget, there's a few others I need to log for it.
