This was a shock to me when I first started using Konqueror in 4.x, and not that 4.2 is considered stable enough for most users, it'd be good to make the transition easy. Importing Konqeror history is definitly a step in that direction. *** Bug 157195 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Should I close this bug report since no one seems to be interested in solving it? I believe it's very easy to solve. And please don't ask to send you patches, I'm not a programmer. Checking the code (4.7 trunk) I found the comment: "// We can't read v3 history anymore, because operator<<(KURL) disappeared." I do not see any chance of having this implemented, as KDE 4 is already on the market for some years and therefore the need for this feature is getting less and less. |
