FaceBook plugin seems to be messed up, I'll fix it. Renaming the whole plugin structure did it for me, but I'm not sure if it was really necessary, maybe I just forgot to call kbuilsycoca4 while testing :-( anoosh, have you compiled kipi-plugins by yourself? If so, you might need to run kbuildsycoca4 while running a KDE session. If the plugin appears now, it was some old cache that made problems. Another report on this can be found here: http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/426 Luka, I have renamed the facebook plugin and it works for me know. To test the issue do the following steps: - remove all kipiplugin folders in /usr/share/apps - remove all kipiplugin desktop files in /usr/share/kde4/services - remove all kipiplugin libs in /usr/lib/kde4/ - run kbuildsycoca4 Now digiKam should have no kipiplugins at all. - Compile and install kipiplugins-rc2 (NOT svn since it should be fixed in there). - kbuildsycoca4 digiKam should load all kipiplugins, but not facebook. - compile and install kipiplugins from svn Finally Facebook should appear. If it is true for you, too, we should keep the new name. The folder was renamed weeks ago, too, so we can safely rename the whole plugin? Andi This was fixed with 0.2.0 release. If you still have problems, feel free to re-open this bug. |
