Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

When selecting an remote image (like sftp://foo@bar/home/images/me.png) in the 'Select an avatar' dialog, nothing happens.

Instead the image should be copied to the local kopete directory and should be displayed in the avatar list.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
