How to Reproduce:
copy a link from firefox and try to paste it within a conversation window, it will show only a work copied previousely from a conversation window, but not the most recent copied text. So sending a long link to a buddy becomes quite hard

I cannot reproduce this here, can you paste the link to other program like kwrite?

Must have forgot to press "commit" some long time ago....sorry. It was only a one runtime thing, after closing kopete and starting it again everything went well, I was just a little hasty in reporting it
