Description Jaime Torres 2009-02-17 20:27:29 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 64 bits
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I get the message:
kmail(xxxx) KMKernel::getFolder: Folder not found: "/Local"
every second.
I do not have any local account.

As I have the same messages and didn't have a local account, too, I added a local account, just for interest. But the messages didn't go away, even after restarting kontact...

kmail 4.2.95 - kdemod-testing, chakra, arch-linux

Mmmh, the problem is the mail plugin in the summary screen of kontact.

I just disabled the plugin, restarted kontact, and the message is gone. It even didn't come back as I reenabled the plugin.

Maybe a work around?

I answer myself: No, the message is back there again...
Comment 4 Anne Wilson 2010-01-01 16:30:58 UTC
I seem to have cured it on my system (Fedora 12 with 4.3.85). Using the Akonadi Tray system > Configure, I removed the local resource - which was immediately replaced, but this time pointing to /home/anne/.local/share/local-mail. That does exist (I don't know whether it did before) and the error messages have stopped.
Comment 5 Jaime Torres 2010-01-08 16:38:56 UTC
Doing as Anne says I do not see the messages.
I've waited two days to be sure.
Closing then as it works for me.
If we see it again, we know it an akonadi problem.
