Sentry Crash Report:

Description Juergen Mathwich 2009-02-12 12:10:44 UTC
Version: 1.11.0 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

To reproduce this: write a new email (plain text) - enter a few words, place your cursor between letters (not at the end/beginning of line or page - just somwhere in beween) and hit Ctrl-Del.
This normally should delete a word - but it crashes the whole app.

I use Kmail inside Kontact

Regards
Juergen

This seems to be fixed in kmail 1.11.90 from svn trunk r923448 (kde 4.2.62).
