Description Sasha Unspecified 2009-02-11 22:59:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In KDE 3.5 shortcuts like Xxx+Shift+Tab (e.g. Alt+Shift+Tab, Win+Shift+Tab, Ctrl+Shift+Tab) were displayed as "Xxx+Shift+Backtab". And they worked fine.

Here, in KDE 4.2, when I use "Configure Shortcuts..."-like dialogs, the Xxx+Shift+Tab shortcuts are displayed simply as "Xxx+Backtab". And then DO NOT WORK. I.e. when I try to assign Alt+Shift+Tab as global shortcut or Ctrl+Shift+Tab as application shortcut (in krusader and dolphin) -- and then press it -- nothing happens.

But: I can make these shortcuts work, if manually edit config files and replace "Xxx+Backtab" string with "Xxx+Shift+Backtab" (tested on krusader).
Thus, the shortcuts themselves work fine, but they cannot be assigned through "Configure Shortcuts..." dialogs (neither as global, nor in applications).

P.S.: Also these shortcuts work in apps, which were configured before upgrading to KDE4 (i.e. when KDE 3.5 was installed on my system).
