Apparently none of developers of KDE 4 is not aware of users who use remote sessions...

There is no way to use KDE 4.2 on remote NX - raster images are distorted (or rather transparency is) and overall performance is unacceptable.

I know that this should be in "feature request", but there was, I put it there, a YEAR ago...

My multiuser kde 3.5 installations are going to be reloaded with Gnome?
