Version:           1.10.4 (using 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4), Debian backport packages)
Compiler:          cc

It happens regularly that kmail 4 crashes after you click on an IMAP folder. The stacktrace window says that no useful data were avaialable (although the stack of one thread seems to appear OK). Deleting .kde4/share/apps/kmail/imap cures the actual problem - though the list of favorite folders gets lost.

If you can reproduce the crash at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here? 
You need to install the "kdepim-dbg" package
