Same here. I described my problem on launchpad: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+question/61953 /Fred --- Ubuntu, Intrepid Ibex 8.10 $ uname -a Linux fd-laptop 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux $ dpkg -s kontact Package: kontact Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: kde Installed-Size: 1660 Architecture: i386 Source: kdepim Version: 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 That's not a Kontact issue. (and the solution was given in the link in comment #1) I hate it when people close without explaining. Kontact invokes a legacy mode in compiz. The only way to get around it is to disable that legacy mode in compiz, which would assumedly cause problems with programs that legitimately use it. It's a Workaround, not a solution. If you just don't want to tailor Kontact to work properly in compiz, just say so. But you can't be can't be having incompatibility problems with a program, and neither of you has a bug. |
