Under MS Windows, in save dialog boxes, filenames extensions and extensions' descriptions are not separated correctly and Windows thinks the available extensions are, eg : .kplato|KPlato project management document. 

Found in kplato, karbon14, kolourpaint, ...

I forgot to mention that saving fails (probably because of the curious char between extension and description).

Works fine for me with kolourpaint on svnHead
There were some issues with extensions which were fixed some time ago.
