Version:           1.11.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

No changes in my Kmail from KDE 4.2 Beta2, and then RC1. 
4.2 final really seemed to have a bug that causes Kmail to hang like a dog, eating up as much CPU as possible while collecting from a POP account.

It also happens with imap accounts.
