Description dag 2009-02-09 02:05:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified

To facilitate fluent browsing of the message list it would be handy to have the list auto advance by half of the height of the listbox when the last visible message in the listbox is selected.
Comment 1 Jaime Torres 2009-02-14 12:11:28 UTC
It is already done in kmail 1.11.90 (kde 4.2.62), but only when you use the keyboard to move from mail to mail (or the toolbar next unread message).

I guess you are requesting this also for mails selected by mouse?
Comment 2 Björn Ruberg 2010-02-06 01:31:31 UTC
The difference here is that the selected mail should not be forced to be in the middle but to move as it is normal - and to scroll on when an end is reached. See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=144145

Please, no more repositioning of the message list until there is a configuration option to disable this behavior which is very annoying to some people.
Comment 4 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-08-18 08:31:15 UTC
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 5 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:15:36 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 6 dag 2012-08-19 07:07:32 UTC
Still valid in kmail2, please
