Version:           4.0 (using KDE 4.1.3)

I don't know where it comes from and what actually happened, but I get the following message every few minutes. I don't know a lot about computers and the only thing I tried is to delete the .kde directory and restart. This worked once for a plasma error, but now it didn't work.

The application KNotify (knotify4) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

This a bug in the Xine translations (german), you can workaround the crash deleting the xine translation file. Look at bug 175407 comment 9
