Description illogic-al 2009-02-07 15:11:58 UTC
Version: 2.0-SVN (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), MacPorts/Mac OS X)
Compiler: gcc-4.2
OS: Darwin (i386) release 9.6.0

Amarok stops playing back audio after an unknown number of tracks (1-3). In actuality it doesn't stop playing though. The progress meter sits at 0:00 but amarok thinks it is playing when it is not.
After pausing/unpausing amarok it starts playback again (for another 1-3 tracks). May be a phonon bug.

We're not using xine.

NB: illogic-al is an OSX user, so that means QuickTime or so.
Comment 5 Leo Franchi 2009-03-04 13:49:36 UTC
illogic-al: i'm hoping this will be fixed with the new qt4.5 phonon coreaudio backend. i haven't been able to get qt4.5 working with my macports install here (don't ask) so i am not sure.

if you do... please comment

this is fixed in SVN, so closing. issue is replaygain/phonon/preamp and shitty phonon-coreaudio engine. solution is to turn off replaygain on os x until we get better backend support (done in trunk)
