Ending punctuation (periods, question marks) in Right-To-Left languages should be at the left end of a sentence, ie, at the end. However, KDE 4 shows them at the right.

This is the "delete re-accouring events" in korganizer.

The real problem is that the direction of the text, or the layoutDirection() is set to Qt::LeftToRight instead of Qt::RightToLeft. It seems wierd, and something else is borked... the direction should be inherited from the main window, which is RTL in this case.

This problem occurs in other dialogue boxes as well. So it needs a more general solution.

Thanks, Christoph. My KDE 4.10 system is not letting me create new events to test this! It seems that I cannot select a calendar. Once I get that sorted out I'll take a look. Note that I've moved from Korganiser to Google Apps due to other bugs in Korganiser, so it may take some time for me to work through this.

Oh, comment #3 seems to suggest, the problem is not in KOrganizer, but somewhere lower in the stack, so it had been reassigned. So the question right now would be, if you have this problem in any other place in KDE? If it is specific to KOrganizer, I have to assign back.
