Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Using Kubuntu 8.10, I pulled down KDE 4.2 from 
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu intrepid main

Tried to change the mouse pointer settings, did not hit apply, and closed the systemsettings app. Got the crashhandler:
