Description gambas 2009-02-05 11:15:37 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

A folder that does not use specific templates ignores the default templates defined in the KMail configuration dialog. In other words, default templates have no effect.
Comment 1 Juan Aguilar Pérez 2009-03-18 13:23:21 UTC
The same happens to me on KUbuntu 8.10 with kmail 1.11.1
I have changed the default templates but kmail keeps on showing old templates.
Thanks.

Please, check also the identity templates.

The order to choose templates is:
* folder (if configured)
* identity (if configured)
* default

Does this solves your problem?
Comment 3 Juan Aguilar Pérez 2009-03-21 12:31:44 UTC
Yes, it does. I should read the f... manuals before reporting issues as bugs.
Thanks.
Comment 4 gambas 2009-03-21 12:43:33 UTC
OK! Indeed, all my identities use blank specific models. Unchecking the "use a specific model" in the identity dialog fix the problem.

But: I never configured such a thing... Strange.

Thanks anyway for pointing at the solution.
