OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Printing from any KDE4-application (kmail, okular, konqueror, ...) freezes the application and nothing at all happens. This behaviour is reproducible on all of my computers. All printing is done to several network printers via cups. Printing from any other non-KDE4 application, like kpdf or firefox works pretty well. This happens as well in KDE4.1.3, but sometimes after several minutes the printer-window apperas.

Printing in KDE4 is done by Qt. I remember some similar bug that was about a conflicting option in the cups configuration. It may be bug 179955

Yes, this does sound the same, Qt are working on a fix, but no sign of progress yet.  Apologies we can't move this forward as yet.
