If they use standard POP3 (or IMAP) and SMTP servers, kmail should work. If they only provide webmail (mail using web browsers), kmail has nothing to do there. In any case, to solve the crash (SIGABRT), as you are able to trigger it at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here? Thanks :) The website I attempted to access through Kmail provides only webmail. So,I am going to try something else.I cant find GBD or gbd. I can find KBdg. Will that work on UBUNTU? Similarly, I don't find kdelibs.These tools are suggested for use in the debugging tutorial and I attempted to access them through Applications -Add/Remove- search. So I take exception to the to the assertion, as stated in the tutorial,that "Kubuntu/Ubuntu family makes things quite easy." I would appreciate someone telling me where these tools are hiding. If I could find them, I would use them. |
