Version:           0.7.4 (using 3.5.10-3.fc9 Fedora, Fedora release 9 (Sulphur))
Compiler:          Target: i386-redhat-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.12-78.2.8.fc9.i686

I use the "Trim Borders" feature (View -> Trim Borders). It works great in standard view and in full screen view (Settings -> Full Screen Mode). But it does not work in presentation mode (View -> Presentation). This has the unfortunate effect that the text in presentation mode is smaller than in the regular view (using full page zoom, View -> Fit Page).

Great, so this is an old bug. Could someone explain why it won't be fixed?

My bug report makes a good case for fixing it.

It is not a bug, it is a wish request since the feature was never meant for presentation mode. 

Now, to answer "Could someone explain why it won't be fixed?" there are several valid answers:
 * When i feel like implementing it
 * When you send us a patch to implement it
 * When somebody else than you sends us a patch to implement it

Then for the first and third options there is always ways to increase the possibility of it happening like you paying for it or giving else something that people might like. But i can tell you the arrogant approach usually does not work.
