- Is this still happening with an updated KDE and Korundum ? THanks Hi, I'm pretty sure I had it working under KDE 4.2.2 (version 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1~intrepid2 of package libkorundum4-ruby1.8)... though at this point I've stopped using KDE, at least until Karmic (Ubuntu 9.10) is released at the end of next month. I'm finding it still a bit unreliable, especially when coming back from suspend, and also resource-intensive -- I switched to openbox, which does pretty much everything I need with a minimum of overhead, and resumes reliably. I'm pretty super busy these days but when I find some time I'll verify whether or not it's working for sure. This is kind of a hassle since I pretty much never close my window session and have 12 workspaces with various windows placed in particular locations. I take it noone was able to reproduce the error I was getting? It seems nobody tried/could reproduce it. Let's wait for the new information, but, there is no rush. We can wait. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! ruby bindings no longer exist under framework 5 ;( I am very sad of this. but whenever they come back, it won't be same software, so all ruby bindings bug can be closed |
