This does not happen always, but the longer I wait (in pause state) the more likely amarok won't play the song again if I hit play. I cannot play any other song as well. So I have to restart amarok, but it does not quit correctly, so I have to kill amarok in order to restart it.
I started amarok in konsole, this is the output:
