Description Fri13 2009-01-30 17:53:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

In the dot was news that Kmail finally had Picture inline support for HTML messages.

I have not used HTML format because that feature has be missing but now I want to start using it. But. The HTML format toolbar is top of all other bars like "To:" "Bcc:" and "Subject:"

When you write an email, you start first from typing addresses for who you are sending email. Then you give a subject for letter and then you start typing the letter itself.

Now when typing the letter, you want to format some words or letters, so you use the HTML formatting toolbar. but it is located top of all other bars.

To give better usability for formatgin. The HTML format toolbar should be between subject and letter box itself. So it is close the material what gets edited and less mouse movement is needed.

This is a limitation of Qt 4.3. The toolbars can only be placed in the corners of a window (top, left, bottom, right).

But you can make the toolbar float over the composing window.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
