Thanks for the report. Could you please let us know which view mode you've enabled? From the callstack it seems to be the icons view with categorization enabled... Does it crash each time you start Dolphin or only sometimes? It might help temporary for your environment if you remove ./kde4/share/config/dolphinrc (-> your Dolphin settings will be reset). It was icons view, with a 64 pixels zoom, and the preview activated. I have the same view for all windows. Dolphin only crashes sometimes. In fact, it is the second crash since I upgraded to KDE 4.2, last 2009/01/27. It was icons view, with a 64 pixels zoom, and the preview activated. I have the same view for all windows. None of the reports seems to have an easy way to reproduce the crash reliably though :-( (In reply to comment #4) > None of the reports seems to have an > easy way to reproduce the crash reliably though :-( But at least the other 3 reports do have something in common: Dolphin crashed after another application created or changed some files. Maybe that helps to find the root cause of the bug... Thanks Frank for the hint. I'll mark all those bugs as duplicate to #173576, this makes it easier for me (or David) to keep the overview. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 173576 *** |
