Description Unknown 2009-01-30 13:46:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.4)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.2 (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu11)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

1. Add a printer instance - using lpoptions command.

2. If you open any print dialog it displays the name of the printer "twice" but not the name of the instance.

3. I have attached an image as an example.

HP_IJSdriver is the name of the printer.
The next line has the same printer but a different instance.
User has no idea what is what ?

In KDE4 we do not provide our own printing facilities but use the Qt Print Dialog instead. This problem already appears to be fixed for Qt 4.5.0, see http://www.qtsoftware.com/developer/task-tracker/index_html?method=entry&id=134820 .

Thanks for the report.
