Description Diwaker Gupta 2009-01-30 06:18:27 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-11-generic

How to reproduce:
* Start KTouch and select Settings -> Keyboard Layouts -> English (Colemak)
* Make sure that the "Highlight keys on keyboard" option is checked in KTouch settings
* Change the keyboard layout within KDE to Colemak
* Start typing

Expected behavior:
If the next letter is 'e', KTouch should highlight the key that says 'e'.

Observed behavior:
Instead, KTouch highlights the 'f' key, which corresponds to 'e' on the QWERTY layout.

This is extremely confusing, especially for people who are trying to learn a new layout.

Yep. The XML file for Colemak was never changed from QWERTY when it was copied (as that's the only way I think this would happen).
