When I plug my 4GBytes card it spend a very big time to generate thumbnail.
A list of file without generate thumbnails could resolve the problem or a button to stop the generation of thumbnails.

Look in status bar: there is the progress bar, and on the right a red cross button. Just press on it to cancel thumbs process.

Hello,

I don't see any red cross on the right of the status bar.
See this screenshot:

I f I press the cancel button on up/left. It break the generation of the thumbnails and only display the tumbnails generated. So I can't all pictures.

Is there any bug ?

Button appears when thumb are generated. you screenshot is taken before, when folder contents are listed.

It's not a bug. And it's what you want, or i misunderstood something...

Hello,

I think you misunderstood something. It's normal because I'm French and my english is poor :(
I try to explain better :

When I want to import from a card reader, all the picture present on my card reader are read to generate her thumbnails.
When I have 4Gbytes of photo this generation is very slow. So i press the cancel button to stop the generation of thumbnails.
But when I press this button, only generated thumbnail are display in my import window. So I can't import the others picture that are present on my card reader (because they are not displayed).

Is it possible to see all the pictures present on my SDcard whitout generate her thumbnails ?

I hope i'm clear :) If not, i'm Sorry :/

When you stop thunbnails process, all images from camera are displayed as icons, but of course icons are empty (no thumbnails).

This is exactly what you need...

This entry is not valid. Just press Red cross button from camera gui tool bar to stop thumbs extraction from camera...
