Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It would be great to have an option in templates that could detect the original's e-mail headers and adding them when replying or forwarding, but only if they were present.

So, take a look into the following e-mail headers:

***
---------- Original Message ----------
From: User <user@domain.com>
Sent: Monday, January 26 2009 18:39
To: User2 <user2@domain2.com>
CC:
Subject: Template test
***

Note the empty "CC:" field. I have to add it on each template so is displayed whenever I reply or forward a message. But if the original message did not include that field, it's empty, and it looks ugly. I have to manually delete the "CC:" field.

I guess it should be nice that templates could handle this automatically, so if I reply (or forward) a message that does not contains a field which is selected to appear in templates, it is not included in the new message, just only if it is present in the original e-mail.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
