Hi,
When I zoom out with the cashew I see a bit hard to see the differences of "+" and "-" icons when they aren't selected because the background is almost the same colour.

I would suggest to change the blue colour of those 2 symbol by another, for example while, yellow or grey... something different.

It is not a plasma bug, it looks better with other plasma themes, such as air, with dark themes however this bug applies, thus the icon should be improved to work with dark themes.

closing. There is no + or - icons from the cashew anymore and activities have been revamped.
Please re-open if I misunderstood.
