hi,

I'm using kde 4.2.0 on opensuse 11.0 x64 and here are some problems I found so far. I'm putting this in one report as I have no time to report multiple bugs and follow their progress

- Icons in the System Tray constantly change the black background color of the tray itself.
- KMail does not clean its trash bin even if the option is checked in the configuration
- Konqueror (which I use as file manager (dislike Dolphin)) forgets the "use common view properties for all folders" option and automatically reverts to the "remember view properties for each folder" option instead
- In konqueror, the option "View -> Preview" increases icon size (Is this supposed to be that way? if so, it's very annoying!)
- KWrite does not respect the Tab width of 8 characters. comparing KWrite4 to KWrite3 (kde 3.5.x), the latter uses Tab space accordingly
- Changing desktop theme in Desktop Settings makes panels grow in their size so I'll have to adjust them each time I change the desktop theme. I know one can lock them but constantly locking/unlocking is annoying

@Grozdan: please, open separate bugs for each issue. having a lot of problems reported on the same bug is very difficult to track for developers.

You can skip the first and the last two points:

- the fifth and the sixth bug you've reported has already been fixed in trunk
- the first bug is almost fixed too. System tray is under heavy development.
