switching to 5 weeks would bring others usability issues. Example : take 03/2009, the 1st day is in the 9th week and the 31 is in the 14th one. Yes that's true. My smartphone on that case switches to 6 row view. No chances to do that in Korganizer? What about other time organizing software does it use 5 or 6 weeks calenders in moth view? Maybe then simply to fix position of first week of moth should be in 1 row. So fix problem with 'jumping month. Sunbird for example, also switches between 5/6 rows when needed but korganizer's month view is a bit different, you can do stuff like use your scroll wheel to see half January and half February. I think what we need is a config option to choose between a static month view (one that only shows one month at a time) and the one we have now. Then this wish could be implemented (on the static month view). I like this "a static month view (one that only shows one month at a time)" more than the current view that korganizer provides. So a +1 from me for this request. I just looked at evolution calendar. They use one color for current moth and another for other days. Maybe that good idea to, because I think there is no need to show weekends in other color in month view. Using other color for current moth will be more clear for user in both static and scrolling view. And I already voted for static view. :) SVN commit 943136 by smartins: Always show day one in the first row when navigating. You can still use scroll to show it on other lines. This fixes: - inconsistent views while going forward then back again. - "Go to today" sometimes shows last month, or next month. Done.
Ok, It now shows day 1 in the first row. I think this is enough to close the bug because it was the real problem, 5/6 rows was just a solution.
Agree?
